The Virgin Of The Panecillo

It is a unique piece, not only for the perfection of its work but also for the detail of its angel wings, a detail that makes it stand out as it is the only winged virgin on the continent. Another element for which it stands out is the globe on which it sits and the snake lying at its feet, components that make it a jewel of Quito sculpture and can be admired on the main altar of the church of San Francisco.
