Holy Water Baths, The Gateway to El Dorado!

The Gateway to El Dorado! Refuge of Conservatives and Liberals? And everything began with ambition’s people …to the Gold (precious metal), to the Nature of impact that just looking at this basin of union of climates our Country, Ecuador has in this Zone highlands and snow in one side and in front of it WaterFalls and all of it together will run the way to them to the Amazon River that will get to feed it with abundance in water…what a Miracle of life, what a privilege to have that geographical location in America, South America and its environment … Consequently, its name “Baños de Agua Santa”, pure water, limpid, friendly climate all the time, were probably the most important and privileged characteristics for the “new homeowners” of our New Continent already conquered. Because there were cultures of their own that if they came from the North, that if they spoke “Puruhá” (millenary culture language), some others came from Amazonian Brazil…what a desirable place it was and STILL IS!!! fortunately.

I would believe however that the True sought Gold (believe it or not !!!) was Cinnamon, the spicy… even the avocado is a Cinnamon spicy-tree…our Cinnamon, the same one that we see and have so many flavors in the kitchen at a DAILY LIFE! at that time of the Conquest people use to say …” the most sought treasure was and even people hear that looking for this spicy to the opposite place they arrived” and thinking to at India´s East were but to , to our land and continent that also at East our land is and also where the Sun rises and we wake up … the rest is History and of our own, time kept going on and last century between misunderstandings of politics and differences in between of themselves looking for a “better” country to our lovely, amazing and small town, Baños de Agua Santa they use to go to have experience life if their thinking could be an “open mind”. An Irony…could be
