We begin our day by visiting the Historic District of Quito, a World Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO. Strolling through Quito’s plazas, narrow streets and absorbing all of the beauty and rich history of downtown will be an unforgettable experience. Later, we continue on with our journey to the Middle of The World Monument.
In the Middle of the World Monument we can stand in both the Southern and Northern Hemisphere at the same time. We visit the Middle of the World complex which offers different activities to its visitors, such as an interactive museum that will teach us about this magical place.
During this tour, we will also visit the Geo-Botanical Reserve of the Pululahua Volcano that offers an unmatched panoramic view of the volcano Caldera and the little town that has settled inside it. We can descend into the now-dormant volcano, stand on its crater and enjoy a rich ecosystem with unique wildlife that includes endemic vegetation, birds, insects and mammals.
